US warns of next strike on Iran: Economic isolation the world has never seen

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Iran would experience economic isolation "the likes of which the world has never seen before", adding that further measures were planned starting next week.

"It will be a combination of economic isolation, the likes of which the world has never seen before," Bessent told Newsmax's Rob Schmitt Tonight program, adding that "the continued blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will prevent anything from entering or leaving Iranian ports."

"Stay tuned for further announcements next week," Bessent said, describing a two-pronged approach, characterized by financial pressure and a physical blockade of ports.
