US attacked Kharg Island, Iran: We will respond immediately
Spokesperson of Khatam al-Anbiya

Iran has reacted sharply after the United States airstrike on military targets on the strategic Kharg Island, warning of immediate retaliation against any threat to its energy infrastructure.

According to the Iranian Fars News Agency, the targets of the attack included army defenses, the Joshan naval base, the airport control tower and the Continental Shelf Oil Company's helicopter hangar.

The spokesman for Khatam al-Anbiya, the Iranian Central Command, responded to threats from US President Donald Trump, who had warned that the US could strike Iran's energy infrastructure on Kharg Island in the event of an obstacle to the free passage of ships in Hormuz.

The Iranian spokesman warned: “Warning to the aggressive and defeated regime of the United States: in the event of an attack on the oil, economic and energy infrastructure of the Islamic Republic of Iran, all oil, economic and energy infrastructure belonging to oil companies throughout the region that have American shares or cooperate with the United States will be destroyed and turned into a pile of ashes.”
