Caroline Leavitt , press secretary for US President Trump , appeared before reporters at a press conference yesterday to speak about one of President Trump's decisions to cut off all US foreign aid to other countries until there is complete control.

In a move that would undoubtedly make news, Leavitt even said that US taxpayers were paying $50 million for condoms in Gaza , which left even the journalists present at the conference speechless.

Why was this decision made in such a short time?

Why weren't organizations given more time to plan for what they would lose, in some cases very significant funds?

" Yes, it's been taken into account, this is what the President signed. There's a freeze on the boards, but also on foreign aid. It's very important that we make sure that this administration takes into account how hard Americans work."

 And their taxes are, to be fair, valuable to this administration. During that time, an organization would be getting $36 billion that would be going out the door for the World Health Organization, which as you all know is an organization that the president decided to withdraw from. The United States will no longer be a part of it. This is in line with the president's agenda.

"Our structures would be giving $50 million from American taxpayers to fund condoms in Gaza. This is the worst way to spend American taxpayer money. So that's where our approach is based. To be very good stewards of Americans' taxes ," she said.
