F-16 plane crash in Poland

An F-16 fighter jet belonging to the Polish Air Force's "Demo Tiger" team crashed at Radom Airport (RDO) on the evening of August 28, during preparations for the Radom Air Show.

The accident occurred at around 7:25 p.m. local time. Footage of the accident shows the plane entering a steep descent over the runway and failing to recover, hitting the ground and bursting into flames.

Emergency services launched a rescue operation immediately after the crash. Initial information suggests that the pilot was not ejected from the aircraft before the crash.
