While the details of the implementation of the project and the start of work in the reception and treatment center for immigrants in Gjadër and Shengjin in Lezha have begun to be revealed and published, there were also reactions and protests from the Italian Trade Union.
The object of discussion was the regulation with 14 points on the ethics of the 500 employees who will come from the neighboring country to perform various tasks, but also the swollen organic and the differentiations with the treatment of the security employees of the detention and prison system in Italy.
According to the "Wilpa" prison union, "if this is the beginning of the mission in CPR, we don't want to imagine what will happen in five years." According to them, the 14 rules are distributed to officers in service from August 20, two months late, "Corriere" reports.
" They thought it was a fake. But it's all true. Black on white. A manual for prison police officers, who from August 20 will have to supervise the prisoner sector of the two repatriation detention centers opened by Italy in Albania, in Shengjin and Gjadër, according to last year's agreement between the two governments ", writes this media.
And further concerns are raised about the regulation and the omission of dealing with it in a transparent manner.
"Document produced without the control of Dap executives. We thought it was a fake, but later found out it was actually true, the handbook was actually drafted and distributed, being deliberately sexist, intolerant or let's say anti-ethnic. This is probably the work of some very diligent official, but what is surprising is that all this can be managed", the representatives say.
And the general secretary of the "Uilpa" Prison Police Union, Gennarino De Fazio, explains:
"If things of this kind happen before the start of the mission, we dare not imagine what can happen under these conditions in at least 5 years of operational service. Since religion is also being discussed, all that remains is to turn to some deity", adds the trade unionist with irony, speaking for the "LaPresse" agency.
