The opposition blocks the Assembly in Kosovo, decides not to vote on the budget

On Monday of next week, a hearing will be held for the consideration of the Bill for the Budget of 2025.

However, the opposition declared that it would not vote for the budget drawn up by the current government. The reasons for not voting, the opposition said, are related to legal dilemmas and the impoverishment it causes to the economy.

Despite this, the ruling party, Vetëvendosje Movement, is convinced that it has the simple majority it needs to pass the Budget for 2025.

The bill for next year's budget aims to increase salaries in the public sector.
