A Russian army plane of the "A-50" model reportedly crashed this evening in the city of Krasnodar, in the south of Russia.
According to unconfirmed reports on Russian Telegram channels, the satellite-equipped aircraft used to scan the war zone and gather information was mistakenly shot down by the Russian air defense system.
Russia lost such an aircraft a few weeks ago after it was shot down by Ukrainian missile systems.
It is reported that today, along with the "A-50" plane, an "Il-22" bomber plane was mistakenly shot down, however, it remains unconfirmed.
Often these planes fly together, as one collects coordinates to then transmit to the bomber in order to carry out the strikes.
Footage of an unidentified object falling from the sky near the Russian city has also been published on social networks.
