A name unknown to the public until recently, Natalie Harp is attracting the attention of the American media for her unusual closeness to President Donald Trump. The 35-year-old assistant, who is rarely seen away from the president, and in whom Trump seems to blindly trust, has become the subject of debate in the US.

"The president doesn't want to do his job, he wants to build the ballroom and travel with Natalie in their flying palace!" says Senator Jon Ossoff.

This statement by Georgia Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff during an election rally was enough to make Natalie Harp's name one of the most talked about in recent days.

Who is the blonde who has disturbed the White House?

The 35-year-old appears constantly at Donald Trump's side, from meetings at the White House to trips and golf weekends, and has unusual access to the Oval Office.

Harp, known within the White House as Trump's "human printer," prepares him with news articles, social media posts, and material she thinks he'll be interested in. She also helps the president with his Truth Social posts and reportedly works seven days a week.

New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman says that Harp has become one of the people with the most access to the president, also playing the role of a "door" through which important contacts can pass.

Harp was among a very small group of people who secretly left the NATO Summit in Turkey on another plane, along with Trump, due to a possible threat.

Her devotion to Trump was also highlighted by a personal letter she sent him after she thought he had upset her during a trip abroad.

"I want things to always be good between us. With all my heart, Natalie," she wrote. Trump reportedly believes in her blindly, and even claimed on one occasion that the 35-year-old would never abandon him.

But this extraordinary approach has not been well received by everyone. Haberman says that Harp, who earns a salary of $150,000 a year, is not liked by many of her colleagues and that her role has long caused debate within the White House.
