A horrific event has shaken the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, when three armed men, disguised as police officers, attacked a soccer field and executed three people in front of players and other spectators.

A security video from a gated community near the port city of Guayaquil shows the moment a normal football match turned into a horrific crime scene.

Suddenly, three masked men dressed as police officers enter the field and launch an attack.

The players, realizing that something is wrong, fall to the ground and try to avoid the attention of the attackers. After a short period of tension, the killers targeted the main victim, a man dressed in black who was in the center of the field.

They kicked him as he lay on the ground, crushed his head with their feet, and executed him with a bullet to the head, at close range, in front of the other players who were paralyzed with horror. Then, the attackers fled as quickly as they had come.

For a few moments, the survivors slowly stand up, shocked by what they have seen. Without wasting any time, they leave the field, leaving the victim's lifeless body in the middle of the field.

The attack lasted only five minutes, but two more bodies were found in the surrounding area. According to Ecuadorian newspaper El Universo, the attackers beat the community's security guards, tied them up and stole their weapons before carrying out the execution.

One of the victims has been identified as Stalin Rolando Olivero Vargas, known by the nickname " Marino ."

He was a known leader of the Los Lagartos ( Crocodiles ) organized crime gang, which controls several areas south of Guayaquil and is one of the groups that has been on the police radar for years. Police suspect he may have been targeted by a rival gang.

The other two victims have been identified as Jefferson Xavier Salon Olivero (33 years old) and Richard Josue Mina Vergara (29 years old), both with long criminal records, including charges of international drug trafficking, murder and robbery.

Interior Minister Juan Reimburg has confirmed that Olivero Vargas may have been targeted by a rival group, especially since he was considering switching to another criminal organization, Los Lobos (The Wolves), a move that may have hastened his fate.

Police had been closely following Olivero for several weeks before the murder and had conducted searches in a nearby area a few days before the incident to find him.

According to investigations, he had a romantic relationship with Micaela Morales Arcos, the daughter of the former prefect of Guayas province, Carlos Luis Morales.
