NASA will build a nuclear reactor on the Moon

NASA, the US space agency, plans to build a nuclear reactor on the surface of the Moon by 2030.

The US aims with its new space plan not only to return to Earth's satellite, but also to prepare the infrastructure to establish permanent bases on Mars.

As part of President Trump's national policy, America is committed to returning to the Moon, building the infrastructure to stay there, and making the necessary investments for the next greater goal, staying on Mars, but also beyond.

NASA and the US Department of Energy have signed a memorandum of understanding to build a nuclear reactor for use on the surface of the Moon by 2030.

The US space agency announces that this agreement with the line ministry is within the framework of the Artemis program and NASA's future missions to the planet Mars, and promotes President Donald Trump's vision of space superiority, with the objective of guaranteeing the US world leadership in space exploration and commerce.
