An ambitious plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, which Donald Trump himself has described as a " very beautiful piece of land ," was presented by Jared Kushner during a " Peace Council " event in Davos.
The project envisages starting reconstruction from the southern part of the territory and requires investments estimated at at least 25 billion dollars.
Presenting his development vision, Kushner emphasized that the plan is based on security, the demilitarization of the area through the disarmament of Hamas, and free market principles.

According to him, the project extends into four phases and starts from Rafah, continues in Khan Younis and ends in Gaza City.
According to Kushner, the Peace Council's development plans for Gaza include:
Cooperation with Hamas for the demilitarization of the area
Reducing Gaza's dependence on foreign aid
The division of the territory into "residential" and "coastal tourist" areas
The construction of 100,000 homes in Rafah, as well as in the so-called “ New Gaza ”
During his speech, US President Donald Trump's son-in-law presented slides depicting the gradual reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, starting from the south.
According to Kushner, the city of Rafah, which suffered heavy damage during the Israeli military operation against Hamas, can be rebuilt within two to three years.
The total cost of the plan for all of Gaza, according to the data presented, amounts to at least $25 billion, without it being clarified yet who will take over the financing of this project.
