The gruesome footage has been released of a 19-year-old man entering a vocational school in Turkey and opening fire, injuring 16 people.

Turkish authorities say the perpetrator himself took his own life during the police operation to capture him.

The incident occurred in the morning hours at Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical High School, located on Rustu Kucukomer Street in Siverek, Sanliurfa.

According to authorities, the perpetrator, who was identified as 19-year-old Omer Ket , entered the school armed with a shotgun and began shooting indiscriminately, causing panic among students and teachers.


The author was a former student of the school, who had studied until the ninth grade and then enrolled in a distance learning high school.

The 19-year-old, born in 2007, allegedly shot himself when police tried to take him under control, resulting in his death inside the school.
