Another court case is being held today at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague against Hashim Thaçi, Bashkim Smakaj, Isni Kilaj, Fadil Fazliu and Hajredin Kuçi, who are accused of obstruction of justice.

The possible testimony of a defense witness is expected today and tomorrow. The prosecution claims to possess evidence and audio recordings.

The former KLA leaders have pleaded not guilty. Defense lawyers have also disputed the prosecution's evidence.

Hashim Thaçi and others are accused of allegedly providing instructions and confidential information to witnesses for the war crimes trial during their 2023 visits to The Hague.

Former president Hashim Thaçi is also accused of alleged war crimes, along with Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.

The Specialized Prosecutor's Office has requested 45 years in prison for each of the KLA four. Thaçi, Veseli, Krasniqi and Selimi have pleaded not guilty to all counts of the indictment, with the defense also saying that there is no evidence to support the claims of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office (SPO).
