The spokesman of the US Department of State Matthew Miller said that the United States is concerned with the recent decisions of the government of Kosovo and called on it to return to cooperation with the main Western allies.

In the last press conference, Miller said that the US does not support decisions not coordinated with the allies, as he accused the government of Kosovo of putting at risk the opportunities that are being created.

"We are worried by the continuous uncoordinated decisions of the leadership of Kosovo. We believe that they have jeopardized the opportunities that we have helped Kosovo to create. If you look at developments since Kosovo's independence, the United States has strongly supported its full integration into the international community as a sovereign, multi-ethnic democracy.

But, in order to fulfill this goal, we have continuously cooperated with the political leaders of Kosovo in actions that have strengthened peace and progress in the country and move Kosovo forward on the Euro-Atlantic path.

What we encourage the government of Kosovo to do is to return to close and constructive cooperation with the United States, the European Union, NATO and its other close international partners. We have made this clear publicly as well as privately," said Miller.
