Assassination in Saranda/ Cham Association Reacts: Rexhep Ismaili was a steadfast voice of the Cham cause!

The Chameria Association has reacted after the assassination attempt that occurred yesterday in Saranda, where Rexhep Ismaili lost his life .

The association states that Ismaili was a steadfast voice and defender of the Cham issue since the beginnings of democracy.

They further demand an immediate clarification of the incident.

Victim Rexhep Ismaili, who was executed with a bullet to the head last evening, was the president of the Saranda branch of the "Çamëria" association. 

"With deep sorrow we announce the tragic passing of Mr. Rexhep Ismaili , Chairman of the 'Çamëria' Association in Saranda. He was a steadfast voice and unparalleled defender of the Cham issue since the beginning of democracy. The 'Çamëria' Association, Vlora branch, condemns this serious murder and demands the immediate clarification of the incident. Sincere condolences to the family and associates. May his memory be unforgettable!", the reaction reads.
