Rare in Skopje, the 61-year-old woman gives birth to her first child

A woman gave birth to her first child at the age of 61, reports TV21.

The woman gave birth a few days ago at the Gynecological Clinic in Skopje. She is considered to be the oldest woman who gave birth to her first child in North Macedonia.

According to the information so far, the mother and baby are in stable condition. The child was conceived through the in vitro procedure.

The woman was born in the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, Irena Aleksiovska Papestiev, a rare case not only in North Macedonia, but also in the world.
