World oil prices fall again, reaching below $102 per barrel

Oil prices fell on international markets as investors assessed signs of a recovery in shipments from Saudi Arabia, despite new missile and drone attacks by Iran-backed Houthi rebels.

Brent crude futures for November delivery fell 2.06% to trade at $101.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for October delivery fell 2.13% to $98.16 a barrel.

The price drop comes at a time when tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate, but markets' attention has shifted to current oil flows from the region and the possibility that supplies will continue despite disruptions and attacks.

According to a JPMorgan analysis, oil flows from the Middle East remain "surprisingly strong," even after disruptions to Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline.

Over the past ten days, total oil flows have averaged about 17.1 million barrels per day. However, this figure remains about 6.1 million barrels per day lower than the 2025 average.

Supply risks remain high

Despite the stability of oil flows, risks to global supply have not disappeared. Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and escalating tensions in the Middle East are keeping markets on edge.

Also in focus is the war between the United States and Iran and the impact that future developments may have on oil production, exports, and maritime transport.

US President Donald Trump stated in an interview with Fox News that he is in a "decision-making phase" regarding war with Iran, warning that "very big things" could happen in the near future.

These developments have brought the risk of further disruptions to oil supply and transportation back into focus. For now, however, markets are reacting to data showing that exports from the Middle East remain at relatively stable levels, putting downward pressure on prices.
