Earthquakes in North Macedonia

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale was recorded this Tuesday evening in the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia.

As the media of the neighboring country write, according to seismological services, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the area between Prizren and Tetovo, at coordinates 42.137 degrees north latitude and 20.998 degrees east longitude, with a depth of about 5 kilometers.

The tremors were also felt in some parts of Kosovo and the surrounding region.

There are no reports of injuries or material damage so far. The competent authorities say that the situation is being monitored and additional data is being collected.
