Kosovo was held to a draw with Austria in a match valid for League B of the Nations League.
The "Dardans" were in the lead, but Austria, with a lucky goal, managed to get a point in Pristina after the match ended 1-1.
The match was very dramatic from the first minute, with both teams trying to find the back of the net. Kosovo took risks with Vedat Muriqi and Veldin Hoxha, but neither of them managed to beat the Austrian goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, Amir Shaipi also made some nice saves to deny the Austrians a goal.
The second half was much more intense. Kosovo started strongly to take risks with Hoxha, who had a good opportunity with his header, but the shot turned out to be a cross.
After a beautiful move, Edon Zhegrova assisted Fisnik Asllani, who beat the Austrian goalkeeper to give Kosovo the lead in the 70th minute.
Just three minutes later, Kosovo had a chance to double their lead, but Milot Rashica hit the post.
When no one expected it, Austria built something through a throw-in, with Kalajdzic assisting Lang, who headed in to equalize in the 85th minute.
After this result, Kosovo ranks second in the group, 3 points less than Austria.
Kosovo will return to Pristina again on November 14, where they will host Israel, then travel three days later to Ireland, where they will close out the Nations League qualifying cycle.
