Fraudulent microcredit schemes have extorted thousands of vulnerable citizens, destroyed families, and taken lives.
But nothing has been enough to stop this criminal phenomenon. Pal Trashaj, an elderly man who could not find justice against the microcredit gang that ruined his life, poisoned himself at the doors of SPAK. During the sensational developments of 2024 in the justice system, Olsi Ibro, one of the key characters in the microcredit fraud scheme, committed suicide by jumping from the height of the building.
He ended his life on July 20, 2024, just 1 day after the prosecution seized the companies Microcredit Albania and Final. His suicide was considered very mysterious, considering the moment it happened.
VOX NEWS has secured other compromising materials from micro-radio companies, the threads of which go precisely to the people who were behind the MCA and FINAL schemes. But, displayed with companies that advertise with pomposity.
The Gjirokastra court had received several requests for execution orders from notary Ernela Çuberi. The lady is the wife of Arben Meskuti, the owner of the FINAL company, placed under seizure for the extortion scheme. A scandalous story that had actually broken out at least 7 or 8 years earlier.
But let's go back to a specific lawsuit filed by one of the judges in Gjirokastra against Ernela Çuberi, a request that had as evidence and proof precisely Çuberi's request for an execution order. In Ms. Çuberi's request for an execution order, the judge had raised suspicions of forgery.
So, the same story with the MCA-FINAL companies where her husband was at the center of the scandal. In this case too, the ADCA entity, which was given representation rights by IUTE CREDIT, was included in the scheme.
Çuberi requested from the Gjirokastra Court the execution of a debt claimed by IUTE CREDIT against a citizen. However, Arben Meskuti's wife, Çuberi, according to the court, is suspected of having forged copies of the borrower's contract with IUTE CREDIT. So, she requested the court to freeze the citizen's properties using false documents.
A scheme implemented massively by the MCA-FINAL entities and the network of entities behind them. But this time IUTE CREDIT also comes to the center. In fact, little or nothing has been said about the fact that IUTE CREDIT was once the parent company of the FINAL entity.
It was precisely the microcredit company that was seized for extorting thousands of citizens. In this sense, it does not seem at all coincidental that IUTE, a company that has moved its headquarters abroad for several years, also appears on the scene for suspicious matters.
The judge's criminal complaint against the notary and the entity IUTE CREDIT states, among other things, that there is suspicion of forgery of documents since "These copies of the contract were not taken from the original, but from photographs of the phone and computer, showing parts of the phone, computer and its keyboard in the picture". Under these conditions, he requested criminal prosecution by referring the material to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office. The judge has raised suspicions of extortion, orchestrated on falsified documents for debts that do not exist. It is not known at what stage the file is at the Prosecutor's Office, but the report made by the Court itself is an indicator of the seriousness of the situation.
What makes the matter alarming is the fact that hundreds of such cases have been filed in the Courts, which warn of other scandals with microcredit companies. This time, eyes are turned to IUTE CREDIT, which was the subject of a criminal complaint. Not by an ordinary citizen, but by a legal professional, a judge...
HISTORY REPEATING...
But, is this phenomenon limited only to IUTE CREDIT AND the companies stigmatized over the years for extorting citizens' properties...? The phenomenon is much broader than that. In the summer of 2024, as justice finally remembered to turn its eyes on the extortionists of MCA and FINAL, another similar company was committing such violations. At the center of the scandal is the company "Credital", once registered under the name "Micro Credit Risk". The company had purchased the debts of another entity "Kredo Financë".
Here, it is revealed that the scheme also involved this well-known company called “Kredo Finance.” The citizen with the initials ZR had received a debt of only 5 thousand new lek from the entity 'Kredo' that was allegedly not repaid.
The case ended up in court for the issuance of an execution order to the detriment of the citizen. However, the representative was no longer 'Kredo' but the entity "Credital" that had purchased the debts from the first company. What stood out and was noted by the judge was the fact that the agreement was in illegible writing. So, it left room for interpretation and suspicions of forgery.
The court's decision expressly stated that "There is a suspicion that the rights and obligations provided for in the agreement were intentionally written in illegible writing in large print, so that the borrowing party would not be aware of the obligations assumed in the agreement."
Citizen ZR is suspected of being deceived into signing a new loan to repay the first one. So, the scheme that MCA and FINAL used to do earlier. The loan had an interest rate of 204% and was beyond any logic.
The judge also considered it highly suspicious that the company "Credital" had twice applied to the Court with requests for execution orders against citizen ZR. It was considered an attempt to legally complicate the situation and plunge the citizen into a situation of no return, until their assets were frozen. For a debt that was only 5 thousand lek. With all the interest on arrears, it amounted to about 60 thousand lek. But, surprisingly, in court the value was estimated at over 100 thousand lek.
Under these conditions, the judge dismissed the request to issue an execution order against the citizen. These files that we have reveal a phenomenon that not only has not ended, but continues to massively extort citizens.
Are these the same people who have woven the extortion schemes through MCA and FINAL? The connections between the companies that we discovered in this investigation showed that the threads between the people are there, but the question that arises is: who stands at the top of the Pyramid...?
In the following, we will bring other denunciations and materials that reveal the deepening drama of microcredits...
