A plane departing from the airport of Chania in Crete, Greece, and with a mysterious destination, allegedly alerted the NATO alliance, after some suspicious maneuvers it carried out over the Albanian airspace.
The Flighradar data, as shown in the video, does not provide more details about this flight. What is known is that a NATO military helicopter took off in the direction of the plane's trajectory.
Voxnews.al inquired with the relevant Albanian authorities about this flight. Until the moment of publication of this article, the authorities have been tight-lipped, not giving any information about the plane.
The silence of the Albanian authorities regarding this flight adds doses of mystery to this case. The plane disappeared from FlightRadar data shortly after the NATO helicopter took off in its trajectory.
The authorities have not responded to the concern raised by Voxnews.al regarding the purpose of the mysterious plane, which allegedly made several circular flights over the Albanian airspace.
What is known is that the airspace of Albania, as a member of NATO, is monitored by Greek military planes, if the alarm of suspicious movements is raised. In this case, instead of fighter jets, NATO has raised an American army helicopter.
According to Flightradar data, the mysterious plane has made several turns near the Albanian coast in the area between the estuary of Vjosa and Durrës. At the moment when the American military helicopter arrived on its trajectory, the plane was flying at an altitude of 11,000 meters.
Immediately after that, he lowered the altitude to 8,000 meters, suggesting that he had a communication with the American military helicopter.
