"Innovation Now", Albania is presented at VivaTech 2025, in Paris

From June 11 to 14, 2025, Paris will be the world center of technology and innovation, thanks to the next edition of VivaTech, the largest conference in Europe for startups, innovative businesses and advanced technologies. In this global arena, Albania is represented with the motto “Albania Future Now”, part of the Innovation Now campaign supported by EU4Innovation (GIZ) and the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, with the aim of promoting, in the national and international market, the Albanian innovation ecosystem.

Four key actors of the Albanian innovation and economic development ecosystem will participate in this international innovation scene: the two technology parks Durana and TEDA, the Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC) and AIDA.

Durana Tech Park is one of the most ambitious projects that aims to become the epicenter of research, innovation and technological production. Through strategic support for small and medium-sized enterprises, Durana Technology Park aims to attract foreign and domestic investments.

TEDA Tirana is the first free economic zone in Albania, which with its geographical position, in the heart of the Balkans, with abundant natural resources and a clear focus on green energy, creates a favorable environment for sustainable and innovative projects. TEDA offers an ideal platform for business expansion in a favorable fiscal and logistical environment.

The Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC) aims to promote sustainable economic and social development in the country by efficiently using state assets and public and private capital, through the transformation of new ideas into strategic national and regional investment projects, including science and technology parks, fair industries, tourism and the real estate industry.

The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) supports domestic and foreign investors who wish to develop successful businesses in Albania, offering them full assistance for their projects, from market analysis and identification of potential sectors, to post-investment services.

With its participation in VivaTech 2025, Albania confirms its commitment to being an active part of the global innovation map. Under the motto “Innovation Now - Albania Future now”, Albania will not only present the most important national projects, but will also build bridges of cooperation with international actors, startups and major investors.

Founded in 2016 by Publicis Groupe and Groupe Les Echos, VivaTech has become an indispensable meeting point for future leaders.
