The increase in salaries in the state administration has sparked hope among private employees, who believe that this change will also influence their employers to pay them more.
"Salaries must also change. I believe it will affect the fact that the prices have also increased", says the citizen.
For economists, the impact will not be quick and to the same extent. Unlike the almost doubling of salaries in the state sector within one year, expert Fatos Çoçoli predicts an increase of 15-20% in the time frame of 3 years in the private sector.
"Giving more money to people is always good because it means more consumption and increases the country's economy. But we have to take into account that we have 135 thousand employees in the state, and the impact will not be immediate since there are 1.2 million in the private sector", declared Fatos Çoçoli.
However, according to economists, the private sector will face pressure from more qualified employees who will prefer the state more for the conditions it offers and the volume of work in relation to vacations.
"I would call it a positive threat, because the private sector must increase its offer to keep employees from leaving the state, because the first place in the state is a safer workplace, and the second is the weekend and holiday breaks that attract them" , the expert further added./Tch
