The increase in prices has increased the receipts of businesses. The data of the Ministry of Finance show that for the first two months of this year, businesses paid almost 8.3 million euros more in profit tax compared to the same period last year.

According to the data, in the first two months of last year, income from profit tax was almost 35 million euros, while in the first two months of this year, this income is 43.3 million euros, or 8.3 million euros more.

The main reason for the increase in the profit of businesses is related to the increase in prices. During the past year, the average level of inflation reached 6.5 percent, while it peaked in the months of September and October above 8 percent.

There is also an increase in income from personal income tax, which has reached almost 80 million euros, from 62 million euros reported last year, if the amount is converted at today's exchange rate, reports Top News.
