New details have been revealed regarding the detention in Greece of a 19-year-old Turkish man, who was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana for attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons.
According to sources, the 19-year-old is the perpetrator of the gunshot wound to 36-year-old Turk Halil Ucar on March 9 of this year in a bar in Sauk.
The perpetrator and the injured person were at different tables and on different floors of the bar. After having dinner on the first floor, the perpetrator went up to the second floor, where he fired a gun at Uçar, wounding him with a bullet in the shoulder. After the shooting, he quickly left the scene.
Three Turks, aged 19, 21 and 22, were arrested on the Kalamata-Pylos National Road by police officers of the Prevention and Mediation Team (OPDI) of Messinia in Greece, for the criminal offenses of violating drug laws, foreigners and forgery.
