Suicides and TikTok

More than there are suicides due to the effects of the victims' activity on TikTok, there is a great desire to discuss these cases by making a buffalo hair.

I hear in the TV studio, supposedly psychologists, supposedly sociologists, discussing this platform without any professionalism.

Above all, they confuse the platform, the channel, with its use.

It's like a drunk motorcyclist riding a Vespa runs over three or four shepherd's sheep and you don't blame the motorcyclist, but the Vespa!

Or someone attacks someone with an umbrella tail and you put the blame on the umbrella tail because if there was no umbrella tail they would not have beaten that other person with an umbrella tail!

In fact, some sporadic events have been painful, even macabre, or even animalistic.

How is the job seeing these cases?

On the one hand, there are many individuals among us who are in a transitional phase. On the one hand, they come from some very rigid, traditional traditions, where shame plays a very large role, conservative environments regarding love, the body, sexual relations, etc., but on the other hand, these individuals currently live in liberal social environments, outside a rigid family control and especially under the impulse of their bodily desires.

Therefore, they somehow secretly lead a life according to their wishes, completely normal in the end, and on the other hand, they certainly do not want this personal life to be known by their social or family environment. They are right.

However, TikTok and the mobile phone with its camera, as well as other social networks, film these intimate moments, and knowing the consequences on the victim, for blackmail, the partner or anyone, they edit and post the footage.

Intimate goes to market, individual becomes public.

At this moment the affected individual experiences a severe crisis. He sees himself as guilty, caught with leeks in his hands, he sees himself as a hypocrite, etc. His enemies knowing this hit him right there. They make him even more guilty, they accuse him as having no morals, as a covered coal, as a person without religion and faith!

Due to this contradiction, there are people who cannot withstand the pressure and sometimes go to extreme acts.

So, TikTok is not to blame, but the context in which it is used. The education of its use.

The platform is used in these cases outside the cultural environment where it was born and has its place.

To tell the truth, in a country with a liberal culture, a woman who someone takes out on TikTok resting her head on the chest of a man with whom she celebrated Valentine's Day in bed, not only who would not think of doing this tiktokian idiocy, not only the public would be completely indifferent to such a photo, but also the person taken out on TikTok, the victim, would say loudly: What are you doing, you idiots! Ytttt pervert!

GOOD!
