There are three types of moralists who want to perpetuate the failure of the new justice system to bring credible charges and a fair trial for all defendants, especially those with a high political profile.
These media outlets, paid for by the same NGO programs that finance SPAK and GJKKO's public relations, are a type of moralists. These are also the most banal, as they are the only ones that do not doubt either the accusations or the prosecutors' practice of lynching specific defendants for personal grudges.
To this day, they are the only ones who defend mass detentions when they are in favor of the government, attack the media that publicize the violation of procedures and scandals in the non-respect of the law by the GJKKO and SPAK for detainees, accusing them of being bought, and remain silent with admiration for the attacks of Berisha and any other opposition member against SPAK, not speaking out about this ugliness.
That is, they are more concerned if Veliaj or Beqaj complain about the cage, since even to those like Olsi Dado it seems like a five-star hotel, they are furious that Karçanaj has the right to speak on TV, since he should be in prison, and they listen with respect to the insults about SPAK and GJKKO from the opposition under indictment. They are not called influence on justice. This is one of the most stale paid propaganda of these moralists of the Justice Reform.
The other type of moralist remains Berisha. He appeared before SPAK today and showed that Altin Dumani has been living for 20 years in a villa owned by his wife's father, who was given to him by a deceased English pastor, and he wanted to prove that the villa was not built in 2000 as Dumani says, since he had a document that in 2004 it was a plot of land.
The document he showed is actually a formal purchase of land with papers in 2004, while the house there could have been built by the pastor without permission as early as 2000 and this does not constitute any mistake, since this is the informal Albania we live in. The problem is that when SPAK accuses some former high-ranking officials that "your father-in-law's house is actually yours", after we found the son's toys there, he should have this criterion for himself, when he has been living in his father-in-law's house for 20 years and has two other apartments that he rents out.
This is a kind of moral debate, but not a legal one. Altin Dumani is within his right to live in his father-in-law's house for 20 years, not only to leave his children's toys there, but also to give birth and raise them there, while it is his wife's father's house. No one has the right to doubt this. But he also has no right to doubt others just because he found his grandson's toys at his grandmother's in the absence of other facts. Otherwise, he will become like Saliu.
The third group of moralists are those who curse and curse Top Channel for offering Mirlinda Karçanaj an interview and why Grida Duma did not grab that “thief” by the hair and throw him to the ground. It is clear that Karçanaj is facing real legal trouble with what happened at AKSHI, and that the investigations are going deeper and deeper into the scandals that happened there with the subcontractors, it is clear.
But I don't understand what harm justice or public morality has done to the fact that an accused person was allowed to say whatever she wanted. Did SPAK have an impact? No! On the contrary, it increased her anger. Did GJKKO have an impact? No! On the contrary, it may have motivated her more.
If she had good advisors, she might not have come out at all, but for her own good, not for the public good. The appearance in the media of an individual under accusation is a personal decision and is related to his troubles. Top Channel or anyone else who extends the microphone to an accused is not saving him or clearing him of the charges, as moralists say. If he really has convincing arguments that he is being accused in vain, then the media has done a public service. If not, then the accused has committed public suicide. But none of this affects justice.
Justice is cold and should only deal with the law, its article and its letters.
Precisely because our prosecutors and judges have their minds on the media and not on the law, they instigate or try such moralistic campaigns. Because if they were in line with the law, if they didn't pay moralistic media, NGOs or fake portals to lynch their victims, they would be seen as respected people of the law and not as sponsors of portals. It would be better for them to just be prosecutors and judges.
