The High Prosecutorial Council has set December 9 as the date for voting on the director of the National Bureau of Investigation, Joni Keta , who was proposed by the Special Commission at SPAK.

Joni Keta was selected by SPAK from a list of seven candidates, including Andi Pogaçe, Artur Beu, Elton Kërluku, Gentian Ndoi, Gentjan Shehaj and Gledis Nano .

SPAK announcement:

The Selection Committee for the position of Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH), at its meeting on 26.11.2025, in the presence of representatives of ICITAP and the European Union, decided to recommend to the High Prosecutorial Council, for appointment, to the position of Director of the National Bureau of Investigation, Mr. Joni Keta, for a 5-year mandate.
