The new school year 2023-2024 will start on September 11 and end on June 14.

The decision was recently approved by the Ministry of Education, with the exception of high school graduates for whom the new school year will end earlier, namely on May 31, 2024.

The innovation in the next academic year is also the starting age of the first grade. According to the legal changes, a child can be enrolled in first grade before turning 6, but the condition is that they turn 6 by December 31 of that calendar year.

Students of 9-year compulsory education will have two holiday periods. The first vacation period will be at the end of the year, while the second period will be in the first week of April.

The decision states that in vocational education, classes begin on September 11, 2023 and the completion depends on the classes.
