The murder of Madri Ulcinak, the perpetrator's weapon is found

The weapon with which the 33-year-old Madrit Ulqinaku was allegedly killed a few days ago in Elbasan was found in the Shkumbin river.

Meanwhile, the suspected perpetrator of the incident, 18-year-old Horgito Peqini, was also arrested last evening.

Police notification:

Elbasan/Police, after many searches, found in the river Shkumbin, the pistol firearm, with which the 33-year-old MU is suspected to have been killed

During yesterday evening, the suspected author of this event and his accomplice were arrested.

Following the actions carried out to clarify the event, as well as based on the evidence collected from the original investigative work, the services of the Elbasan Police Station, in cooperation with the Section of the Operational Force in the DVP Elbasan, within the coded police operation "The end", the suspected author of the event of August 17, where the 33-year-old MU was shot dead, was arrested

In the framework of this operation, as a result of numerous controls carried out by the Police of Elbasan, as well as negotiations with the family members, it became possible to handcuff the citizens HP, 18 years old, and KS, 33 years old, after the Court of First Instance Parë Elbasan has decided the security measure "Arrest in prison", for these citizens, for the criminal offenses "Deliberate murder", carried out in collaboration and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".


From the entirety of the investigative actions, it has emerged that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, allegedly killed, for weak motives, with firearms, the MU citizen, on the evening of 17.08.2022.

As material evidence, the Police seized the firearm, a pistol with a comb with 6 cartridges in it, which were found after intensive searches by the services, in the Shkumbin river bed.

The investigative materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
