A burned car was found a few minutes ago, and is suspected of belonging to the perpetrators who executed former prison policeman Gentian Bejtja.

Unidentified persons fired bejtjan bullets as soon as he entered his apartment in the village of Larushk of Fushë-Krujë, leaving him dead on the spot.

The police have given a brief briefing regarding the serious incident.
"On 15.03.2024, in the village of Larushk, Kruja, the citizen G.B. was killed by gunshots. A special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecution, continues work to clarify the circumstances of the event, identify and apprehend the suspects" police said.

Bejtja had previously survived three attacks, and just a year ago he was killed in an attack that killed the brother of wife Ramadan Sino, and his two children, aged 13 and eight, were injured.
