Clashes between protesters on the 78th day

A confrontation has been recorded among protesters during the 78th day of the protest against Edi Rama's government. Full details on the causes and extent of the clash are still unknown, while the situation has created tensions within the ranks of the protesters themselves.

The clash comes a day after activist Adriatik Kurti publicly denounced the tensions and divisions between groups participating in the protest.

In a lengthy response, Kurti raised accusations of hate speech against the "Flamingove" group, claiming that some self-proclaimed Trappist conservatives had labeled these protesters as "Sorosians."

According to him, a similar incident was also recorded during the "Flamingove" march, where, as Kurti claims, one of the protesters was verbally and almost physically attacked while playing the drum.

Kurti linked the tension in the situation to a claim circulating in recent days about a meeting between Alex Soros and a large representative group of the “Flamingove” group. He described this news as a “fabrication”, claiming that along with the “Flamingove” group, the “Lëvizja Bashke” group and environmentalists were also targeted.

"Since the day the Flamingo group was attacked, there has been a significant organizational decline," Kurti wrote, claiming that the situation had also caused concern among the protest organizers.

The activist also mentioned a coordination meeting held before the march, where, according to him, Dritan Goxhaj had attempted to motivate the groups not to fall prey to divisions.

In his reaction, Kurti used harsh tones towards the people he accuses of inciting tensions, describing them as "fascists" and claiming that they have a line of coordination with several figures from "Foltoresa".
