VIDEO/ Footage of the fight in which three people were injured in Saranda

A violent brawl broke out yesterday evening in the city of Saranda, involving several young people. Footage of the knife attack in a barbershop and the violent clash with chairs and tables in a nearby bar was published by lawyer Arben Llangozi.

The released footage shows the first moments of the conflict, near the entrance to the promenade. An argument between several young people quickly escalates into a physical confrontation and then the use of cutting tools.

Three people were initially reported injured in the incident: brothers Elidon and Mario Shukulli, as well as Andi Saliaj. The injured were taken to Saranda Hospital, while Elidon Shukulli was transported to Tirana for more specialized treatment.

Saranda police then announced the arrest of three suspects, Kamelo Aliaj, Andi Saliaj and Eduard Bajrami.

According to preliminary data, the conflict is suspected to have started for weak motives. The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury", committed in collaboration, and "Disturbance of public peace".

Investigations continue to fully clarify the circumstances and determine the responsibility of each person involved.
