After 7 years of work, the Independent Qualification Commission has only 6 prosecutors and judges left to sift through, out of 805 magistrates who had the task of checking their wealth, image and professionalism.

From February 2018 to October 11, 2024, the KPK, otherwise known as the First Level of the Veting Process, confirmed 368 prosecutors, judges and legal assistants and dismissed a total of 267.

Along with the latter, 105 other prosecutors and judges who chose to resign, not facing the vetting, eventually left the system. Thus, 273 vacancies were created in the system.

Meanwhile, the KPK again sent two prosecutors to the school of Magistrates for problems with professionalism and dismissed or left without a final decision for 57 prosecutors and judges who had doubts about whether they still held the status of magistrate.

The vetting process did not only result in dismissals for magistrates, since in May 2020, SPAK announced that it had taken under investigation 10 former judges of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts based on their dismissal decisions by the KPK.

For 5 of them, the Special Court has given sentencing decisions, seized the property, or is judging them for non-declaration of the property.

KPK ends its mandate in December of this year.
