The Durrës police have released a driver from Kosovo, after the accident that took the life of the son of the well-known businessman in Tirana, Mentor Pajtoni, Amarildos.

The police say that the 27-year-old man was driving a motorcycle on the Kavajë-Rrogozhinë axis, when he collided with the car of citizen JS from Kosovo from behind. Although the driver of the car proved that he had not consumed aklook, he was proceeded at large.

Police Notification:

Regarding the road accident that happened around 10:15, on 26.06.2024, on the "Kavajë-Rrogozhinë" highway, where the motor vehicle driven by the AP citizen, 27 years old, resident in Tirana, hit the vehicle driven by the Kosovar citizen from behind JS, 38 years old, and as a result the 27-year-old was injured, who was transported to the Trauma Hospital, we inform you that:

In relation to this case, all investigative and procedural actions have been carried out under the direction of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office. At the end of these actions, the proceeding was started in a free state for the citizen JS, for the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules".   

From the performance of the alcohol test, the 38-year-old's result was 0.00 mg/l.   

It is suspected that due to injuries from this accident, yesterday, the AP citizen died in the Trauma Hospital, Tirana.
