Vlora Police have provided details about the serious incident that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Vlora, where a 2-year-old child fell from the balcony of his house and lost his life.

The incident took place in the "Pavarësia" neighborhood.

According to police, the minor was at home with his mother when the tragic incident occurred.

"Today, at around 18:20, in the "Pavarësia 3" neighborhood, a 2-year-old child is suspected of accidentally falling from the balcony of the apartment in the building where he lived and as a result died on the spot.

Preliminary information indicates that the child was in the apartment with his mother, citizen KH.

"The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is at the scene and is continuing its work to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the incident ," the police announced.
