The Special Court has left in prison the driver of the van who was caught with 8 pistols in the Port of Durrës two days ago.

The security measure of arrest in prison was imposed on Jetmir Kaloshi. But Kaloshi has claimed that he is a driver and has nothing to do with pistols.

"I will deliver them to Italy and then I will return. I don't have a visa to Great Britain", said Kaloshi in court, clarifying that he was employed in the transport agency as a driver and was paid "in black".

The authorities are verifying the person who handed over the table where the weapons were hidden. The receiving person in Great Britain, at the address where the order was to be delivered, is expected to be part of the investigations. It is known that the Albanian authorities have not yet sent letters to Great Britain, but the procedures have started.
