The police of Elbasan arrested 23-year-old Briken Rusta, wanted on May 26, as part of the "Plan" operation, where the murder of a citizen with a criminal record was prevented.

Briken Rusta wanted to kill the 24-year-old Maringlen Hida, convicted twice before, for criminal activity in the field of narcotics, with whom he had a conflict a few days ago.

Unable to carry out his plan, as a result of police pressure on the ground, in the "Qemal Stafa" neighborhood, on the "Tomorr Sinani" street, Briken Rusta threw the firearm on the street and left. Rusta's escape lasted only 4 days, while today it is known that he fell into the handcuffs of the blue uniforms.

After the incident, based on the conducted investigations, the police also conducted checks in the apartment of Boiken Bahiti, 41 years old, a resident of Elbasan, who was arrested on the day of the incident. In his apartment, they found 1 PMSH automatic firearm, combat ammunition, about 300 grams of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa and a Police radio.

The police of Elbasan also wanted 22-year-old Klaudjo Sulmina, suspected of being an associate of Briken Rusta, for committing this criminal event.

However, the latter sent a video sent to JOQ, where he showed that he was in Germany for almost two months and that he does not know the people mentioned by the police. He also sent the stamps he got in his passport. The role that the police suspect of Sulmina in this event is still unknown, but he said that this is untrue.
