He attempted to corrupt judges in collaboration with lawyer Lena, SPAK seizes Nikolla Hafësllari's assets

SPAK has seized several assets of Nikolla Hafësllari, accused of attempting to corrupt Appeals judges, in collaboration with lawyer Arben Lena.

Previous investigations revealed that they attempted to bribe the Korça Appeals Court judges with 5,000 euros to release from detention Bledar Koziçi, arrested for refugee trafficking, whom Lena was defending.

Among the seized assets are two garages and two apartments in Tirana:

SPAK seizes assets of a citizen accused of exercising illegal influence over public officials

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has filed an appeal with the Special Court of Appeal regarding property proceeding no. 9 of 2025, for which investigations are ongoing. The proceeding concerns the seizure of immovable property of citizen Nikolla Hafësllari and related person Erjol Mekshi.

Citizen Hafësllari is accused of the criminal offense; “Exercising illegal influence over persons exercising public functions”, committed in collaboration (Articles 245/1 and 25 of the Criminal Code).

The appeal was filed against decision no. 18 dated 24.10.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance.

The Court of Appeal, with decision 262, dated 2.12.2025, decided:

Seizure of movable and immovable assets as follows:

Garage no. 6, floor -1, address 'Pjetër Bogdani' street, Mëzez, Tirana,

Garage no. 7, floor -1, with address 'Pjetër Bogdani' street, Mëzez, Tirana,

Audi brand vehicle, model A6, year of manufacture 2005.

Apartment, no. 19/1, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, with a total area of ??87.89 m2, with the property address, “Pjetër Bogdani” street, Mëzez, Tirana.

Apartment, no. 21, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, with total area of ??61.89 m2, with property address, 'Pjetër Bogdani' street, Mëzez, Tirana.

The Judicial Police officers and representatives of the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK) have been charged with the execution of this decision. The administrators of this agency are charged with the administration and use of movable and immovable assets.
