The Administrative Court of Tirana has accepted a lawsuit filed by Chief Commissioner Pal Marku requesting the cancellation of the procedures for the competition for the rank of 'leader' in the State Police. Mark claims that the contest was rigged to favor the favorites.
The competition for the leadership rank was held when the police was led by Muhamet Rrumbullaku and the interior minister was Taulant Balla. If it happens, it risks the collapse of the entire rank procedure in the ranks of the blue uniforms.
Chief Commissioner Pal Marku requests the cancellation of the process that took place from February to April of this year with the claim that the way it was processed for the rank of "Director" highlighted many illegalities.
Despite the written result against him and some colleagues, according to the chief commissioner, the Evaluation Committee deliberately gave him too few marks in the oral test. Likewise, according to Mark, the former chief policeman Rrumbullaku changed the rules and evaluation criteria illegally, while the appeal commission did not take into account any contestations from the chief commissioners.
