Elira Kokona

Elira Kokona has been summoned for questioning today by prosecutor Dritan Nushi. The questioning is related to the complaint filed by citizen Thanas Biqiku, a businessman in the hotel industry.

The latter has reported Kokona to the prosecution and has requested to be investigated, as part of a commission that has made a decision against Biqik.

In addition to Kokona, the Tirana prosecution has summoned other members of the commission for questioning.

Biqiku is the businessman against whom the confiscation order of a palace in the capital was lifted by Judge Hazbi Balliu. Balliu's decision was followed by a public debate by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who criticized the decision-making.
