A 47-year-old Albanian man has been arrested in Italy together with a Romanian citizen after they are accused of repeatedly raping two teenage girls.
Two 18-year-old women ( one from the province of Rome and the other from Viterbo ) reported that they had been sexually abused in an apartment in Rome by two men.
The teenagers were reported to have arrived in Rome to meet a friend of theirs, who told them at the last minute that he could not wait for them.
Shortly after, while they were walking on the street, they were approached by a 26-year-old man of Romanian nationality, who offered to host them in his apartment for the night and offer them drinks.
After initially rejecting him, the teenagers, "deceived" by the politeness of the young Romanian, agreed to go to his apartment, but that's where the nightmare began.
When they entered the 26-year-old's house, they also found the 47-year-old Albanian inside. After forcing them to drink alcohol, they separated them by putting them in separate rooms and raping them repeatedly.
After being sexually abused, the girls managed to escape from the house and call the police, thanks to the help of some passers-by.
When they arrived at the apartment, the carabinieri arrested the 26-year-old Romanian.
While the young man's friend, the 47-year-old Albanian, was handcuffed at a bus station in an attempt to leave the city.
