Police find Serbian extremist weapons and symbols in the north of Kosovo

The Kosovo Police have undertaken an action in the north of the country, specifically in the village of Jašanica in the municipality of Leposavic, where a significant amount of weapons and materials with Serbian nationalist symbols was discovered.

The Deputy Director of Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, has confirmed to the media that the operation was undertaken after the information received from the Border Police Units.

"Around 12:00 p.m., we received a notification from the Border Police Units that drinks, T-shirts with nationalist logos and symbols, knives, electric shock and other prohibited items are being sold in a bar in the Leposaviq area," Elshani stated.

According to Kosovar media, the bar where the smuggled goods were found is already in the hands of the authorities, while investigations are ongoing to identify the persons responsible and the possible distribution network of these materials.
