Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke on "Albania Live", reiterating that there is no construction permit in Zvërnec.

"We are confusing the world with these papers that are thrown and cut. No building permit has been issued and there is no building permit for the development in Zvërnec. We should ask the relevant agency what it is there. I can say that there is no building permit, that if there had been a building permit in January 2025, construction would have started because we are in 2026. It is not the institutions' confusion, it is your confusion.

"Get me the permit, this is not a permit, it is a paragraph on a document that has a series of permits. I am very sorry that we are going around and confusing the world. That (the photo below) is not a building permit, it has a series of points," Rama said.
