The police seize umbrellas and sunbeds without permission in Himare

The coded police operation "Free Beach" continues, launched during the weekend, with the aim of freeing up public spaces on the beaches.

The Police Station of Himara, in cooperation with the Municipal Police of Himara, have today finalized the second phase of this operation.

During this phase, a total of 38 umbrellas and 66 sunbeds were seized, which were illegally placed in Borsh and in the place called "Maraç", Himare.

As well as, 3 citizens who occupied public spaces by illegally setting up umbrellas and sunbeds and hid the income gained from this activity were criminally prosecuted.

"As a result of the second phase of the police operation coded "Free beach", 3 cases of this illegality have been identified, 1 case in Borsh and 2 cases in the place called Maraç", Himare.

Following the procedural actions for these cases, the crime investigation specialists of the Himar Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a state of freedom for the citizens:

-AM, resident in Himarë and ET, resident in Tirana, after illegally placing 20 umbrellas and 30 sunbeds, in the place called "Maraç", Himarë;

- AZ, 52 years old resident of Borsh, Himarë, after illegally placing 18 umbrellas and 36 sunbeds on the beach of Borsh", informs the police.
