After the midnight attacks in the parking lot of the municipality of Zveçan in the north, the Kosovo police have increased security measures to guarantee order and public safety nationwide.

According to the Police, the measures include increased police presence in the field, more patrols in the most critical areas, more checkpoints and increased cooperation with citizens.

"In order to increase public safety and prevent incidents of various natures, the Kosovo Police has increased security measures in the country, including the north of the country where several serious criminal attacks/incidents have occurred in recent days. With the planned plans, there will be an increase in police activities to provide more security throughout the country, for all citizens without distinction. The operational police plans will focus on increasing the police presence in the field, carrying out more patrols in the most critical areas, more checkpoints and increased cooperation with citizens".
