Henrik Hoxhaj has revealed serious details regarding the planning and execution of the assassination attempt on brothers Besmir and Viktor Haxhia , an event that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic, when Tirana was almost empty.

In his testimony before the GJKKO judges, Hoxhaj said that discussions about the murder took place with Nuredin Duman, who had expressed concern that other people, including Altin Ndoci, were trying to accuse him of criminal acts that he had not committed.

Ndoci, according to testimony, lived in the Misto Mames area, but his movements were difficult to track as they were easily noticeable.

"It was Covid time. Tirana was empty. Ndoci had a house in Misto Mame, but it was very conspicuous there and you couldn't find him. Then it was decided to kill one of the Haxhia brothers, so that he would come to the funeral and then be executed. According to Nuredini, they were all together with Talo Çela. The target was Besmir Haxhia. It would have been Nuredini too. I think he also brought me a photo. I was with Nuredini. The driver was Klevis Alla. When I went for this event, I stayed at Nuredini's house for two days. Besmir had several rental cars and a travel agency," said Henrik Hoxhaj.

According to Hoxhaj, it was decided to target one of the Haxhia brothers, with the intention that after the murder, the other target would appear at the funeral and be executed there. Nuredin had told him that people connected to Talo Çela were behind this scheme.

"For the event, we used three Kalashnikovs and a belt gun. Nuredini and I were going to be the executioners. He wanted to do it at a betting shop, to call him there. I refused. I told him that there were many people and people would be killed in vain. Later, we left in a "Toyota" with a luggage rack. I had a Kalashnikov in my hand. I also had a short gun nearby. We were wearing OFL uniforms. We also had silicone masks, but I didn't wear them."

The incident occurred around noon in the Shënavlash area. When the target vehicle was seen by their driver, it was determined that Besmir Haxhia was with his brother.

" We kill them both ," Dumani is quoted as saying.

After a short chase and the victims' car being stuck in traffic, the perpetrators opened fire.

After the assassination, they fled towards Tirana. The hoods were thrown in the Vora area, while the weapons remained in the car, which was then driven away by the driver. For this incident, Hoxhaj declares that he received 35 thousand euros.

“We left the house for lunch. In Shënavlash, when his car passed, our driver saw that he was with his brother. He told Nuredini that he was with his brother. “Good,” he said, “we’ll kill them.” We followed them for a while. They were walking fast. Then they got stuck in traffic. We pulled over on the side of the road and opened fire. I shot both Nuredini and myself. Nuredini got out of the car. I told him why it was useless, that they were finished. Nuredini shot, but his gun jammed. Then his other one jammed too. Then I took the gun. I got out and shot him several times. I hit the driver. The driver took us to Nuredini’s car and we went to Tirana. We threw the hoods in Vora. We left the guns in the car, which the driver took. I received 35 thousand euros for this incident. I had no communication with Krymin. When I found out that Klevis Alla had been arrested, I said to Nuredini: “What "You've got us on your back." Nuredini told me: "Don't worry." When he was caught, he said that Altin Ndoci and Talo Çela were behind. I was surprised and said: "What is he saying?"
