New details have been revealed from the arrest of the candidate of the coalition "Bashke Fitomje" for the municipality of Himara, Fredi Beleri, who is accused of buying and selling votes.

Sources indicate that in the testimony given to the Police, Beleri denied being involved in such violations. "I have nothing to do with this accusation," Beleri is said to have declared.

The candidate of "Together We Win" was arrested shortly after midnight in front of his bar along with 3 other people, the lawyer, and representatives of the electoral headquarters. Numerous police forces took part in his handcuffing, which was done on the orders of SPAK.

Meanwhile, it is learned that one of the arrested people felt bad during the arrest, as he was suffering from heart problems. Therefore, an ambulance had to intervene to take him to the hospital.
