The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands has decided to inform Feyenoord fans about the rules in Albania before the final of the Conference League that will be played on Wednesday in "Air Albania".
The main emphasis is on narcotics, where unlike the Netherlands in our country it is not permissible to consume or keep it with you. The Dutch Foreign Ministry advises fans not to carry or consume drugs, as in Albania it is punishable by imprisonment.
She also explains in terms of money, where she informs them that Albania does not have the Euro but the Lek. Dutch fans are also advised to beware of car robbers and pickpockets.
"Authorities are conducting checks on the possession and use of drugs, violence and the lighting of fireworks. These latest violations are punishable by a maximum of three years in prison. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs also warns Dutch citizens that there is a risk of imprisonment for conduct such as disturbing public order or consuming alcohol in public.
Although the euro is accepted as a method of payment and can be exchanged in many countries, Albania, which is not a country of the European Union, has its own money, the lek. About 120 of these make a euro. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Dutch citizens to take money with them in case the ATMs will be empty. "You should also be careful about crimes in Albania, especially car theft and pickpockets," reads the advice given by the Dutch Foreign Ministry.
