The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has requested an immediate trial for Bleona Tafallari, a 19-year-old from Kosovo who is nicknamed the "Lioness of ISIS".
She was arrested last November 17 in Italy for international terrorism and is accused of being part of a fundamentalist Islamic group with her husband and was about to go to fight.
According to the prosecution, the girl had embraced jihadist radicalism at an early age when she married a 21-year-old mujahedeen from Kosovo. Bleona Tafallari was accommodated among the minors of the Islamic State, without hiding ambitions to go and fight against the "western enemy". The 19-year-old was a staunch supporter of ISIS for at least three years and along with her husband were part of a group called the 'Balkan Lions'. In addition, conversations uncovered by authorities revealed that she had links to the perpetrator of the Vienna attack Kujtim Fejzullai
In the question before the investigating judge and then the prosecutors, the young woman always defended herself, explaining that she had never made propaganda and that she had never thought "to become a martyr, nor to go to fight".
According to Italian justice, Bleona Tafallari has always been connected to her smartphone, in which she spent hours talking. What was noticed was the use of the Islamic State flag as the most common 'emoji'. Also on her phone were found images and videos of various atrocities such as beheadings committed by ISIS terrorists.
She also had numerous conversations on her phone where she rebuked her peers for disobeying and obeying religious orders, until she did not hesitate to advise and persuade them.
Tafallari in hundreds of conversations had used the nickname "pilgrim bride", while these discussions were made in "Telegram" to maintain confidentiality.
